Having a new baby is so exciting and being able to style these newborn baby photoshoot sessions for your little peanut is such an honor!

One of the things that I really love about being a newborn baby photoshoot is getting to play dress up with a baby. I’m not joking. It’s not always the typical kind of dress up you would think, but rather, designing a set for your sweet baby to be photographed in or on!

When choosing colors, I mostly stick with the few that the parents have chosen. If they are unsure about what colors they like, I simply ask them to think about where they will want to hang their artwork in their home. What are the primary colors in that room? This gives me something to work with.

I usually ask parents to give me 2-3 color choices. This helps the gallery to flow together nicely, which is especially important if you plan on ordering an album!

Mom mentioned that she loved greens, so in the images above you can see how I incorporated green in the girliest way possible! This precious baby reminds me of a woodland fairy with the floral halo from Click Here

S i x months… of you smiling with the brightest gummy grin while your body does the happiest wiggle. You’re back scoochin’ around, starting to roll, and always pulling those tiny slobbery fists towards your mouth. We’re are all absolutely obsessed with you, baby girl!

6 months. 183 days. 26 weeks. 1/2 year.

She is a champ at rolling from her back to her front, but still doesn’t seem to want to roll from front to back. She has done it a handful of times, but still gets stuck and then pissed off when she can’t figure out how to roll on her own. She just sat up on her own for the first time today! Still very wobbly, but it’s cool to see her getting stronger every day.
