Having a new baby is so exciting and being able to style these newborn baby photoshoot sessions for your little peanut is such an honor!

One of the things that I really love about being a newborn baby photoshoot is getting to play dress up with a baby. I’m not joking. It’s not always the typical kind of dress up you would think, but rather, designing a set for your sweet baby to be photographed in or on!

When choosing colors, I mostly stick with the few that the parents have chosen. If they are unsure about what colors they like, I simply ask them to think about where they will want to hang their artwork in their home. What are the primary colors in that room? This gives me something to work with.

I usually ask parents to give me 2-3 color choices. This helps the gallery to flow together nicely, which is especially important if you plan on ordering an album!

Get ready for the best baby pictures

This may seem over-enthusiastic, but preparing for your newborn’s photos during your pregnancy is a good way to avoid panic or forgetting information. While the baby is still on the way, you can decide the locations, backgrounds, outfits and accessories you may want to shoot her with. You might not have the energy or time to gather these as soon as your bundle of joy is home. Also once the baby arrives you will be busy taking care of her and you can’t go out for shopping. Have an assistant for best baby pictures

Having somebody who can help hold the reflector/diffuser, adjust the child’s bib/binky, clean the baby’s spit and so on will be an advantage. It can be your spouse, a friend, a neighbor, or anyone you can persuade to do this.

Yes, when your infants are all of 10 days old or less, they are mostly sleeping. This will not just assist you get those exceptionally lovable drowsy shots, you’ll conserve yourself the hassle of a sobbing baby, adjusting their binkies, and so on.

Take extra care when you introduce any foreign substance near your newborn baby.

The eyes always need to be in pin-sharp focus, and ideally they’ll show mostly the iris/pupil, as opposed to mostly the white area. Eyes in a photo attract the viewer’s eye, and make the image instantly more alluring. If you really want to make your child’s eyes stand out, try and get a ‘catch light’ in them. This can be achieved by ensuring there’s some light falling on your child’s face, and can really help the eyes come alive.

Newborn Photography session starts with the infant phase, the stage where the baby is sleeping most of the time. At an age around 7 to 15 days, babies curl into many angelic poses. Our safe baby posing skills clubbed with classy themes will give your baby’s cute poses a lifetime charm.

​After the sleeping phase of the ‘new born’, your baby goes through rapid changes. This can be indicatively grouped based on the age of the baby. The poses and themes are chosen based on the baby’s activities and mood at the time of the shoot. Yes, your baby is the Boss!

​7 days to 15 days: The ideal time for a new born photo shoot is during this period. The baby is very flexible and will pose for the most angelic photos with ease. The intense sleep is an added advantage.​

16 days to 3o days : Your baby has started getting used to their favourite sleeping positions. Their sleep intensity is also reducing. Don’t worry we will be extra patient to give you some great memories as art. The shoot will take slightly more time but you are still not very late to do a new born photo shoot.

​1month to 2 months: Its already late for a new born photo shoot. Don’t worry, we have methods to still get some great photos during this period. May be not all new born poses. It will be a long day shoot where most of the times we will be waiting to get the baby to deep sleep so that we can pose the baby. We will not push the baby to do anything outside their natural postures and our skill levels.
